Digital Curriculum in Practice - a Loop Breakfast event

Teachers in Loop schools are invited to come and hear about programmes and initiatives that are being implemented by colleagues in Wellington schools to support Digital Curriculum in Practice.

The session will consist of three short presentations with a brief time for questions/discussion at the end of each.  Light breakfast refreshments will be provided.  Staff from any Loop schools are welcome to attend.  Attendance is free of charge.  Please register using the link at the bottom of this page.

At this session, we will hear from:

  • Katie Long, HOLA Technology, Hutt Valley High School: Katie will present an overview of how HVHS has integrated the new Digital Technology Progress Outcomes into its existing year 9 and 10 Technology programme.  She will also show the resources that have been developed to support assessing and reporting against the outcomes.
  • David Foulds, HOD Digital Information Technologies, Tawa College: David will provide an overview of how Tawa College has implemented the new Progress Outcomes, Designing and Developing Digital Outcomes, and Computational Thinking at Years 9 and 10.
  • Ben Britton, Wellington High School: Ben will talk about how the Digital Technology Curriculum carries on into the senior school at WHS through its array of digital tech courses.
